Ronan co-founded Timewise Systems (formerly Heavey RF) in 1999. Starting out with just two employees, under his leadership the business has grown into the international force that it is today.
Interested in radio and wireless technology from a young age, Ronan went on to study telecommunications at university. It was there that he was first introduced to the impact technology can have on operational environments – sparking a passion that has led to a 25-year career in developing and delivering innovative warehouse solutions.
Ronan is driven by the belief that technology can unlock vast potential for increased efficiencies and accuracies in supply chain operations. He adopts a partnership approach with our clients, ensuring they derive the most value from the systems that we design and implement for them.
This is an ethos that filters right through our company, as Ronan champions ongoing investment in the development of, and training in, the latest industry technologies.

Founder of Heavey RF Group, our parent company, Michael is a leading light when it comes to promoting innovative technology. Since 1980 he has been a key figure in Irish entrepreneurship and has been supplying data capture solutions to industry for nearly 40 years.
As our Chairman, Michael’s commercial philosophy is to add value to our clients’ businesses. He drives our team to ensure that we always deliver above and beyond a client’s expectations, encouraging individual initiative and a strong customer focus.
Michael also serves on the board of several technology and packaging companies across Ireland, the UK and Spain, all with specialist engineering expertise.

Ciaran began his career in the warehousing and distribution industry over 25 years ago. As Operations Manager for Blackhorse Transport, he worked at the coalface of the supply chain sector, developing a deep understanding of its day-to-day demands. He then went on to gain account management and sales expertise with TDG Ireland and Zetes.
On joining Timewise Systems in 2006, Ciaran found the perfect home for his skill set. Building on his first-hand experience, he now provides our customers with answers to the issues he once contended with.
This in-depth industry knowledge enables Ciaran to untangle the intricacies of our clients’ challenges and clearly define their needs. Always focusing on the end value to the customer, he guides clients through system development and deployment, helping them to improve productivity and, ultimately, reduce costs and increase profit.

Andrew has been involved in the field of electronic engineering and IT for over 20 years. One of our longest-standing team members, he has worked with us since 1999. Andrew’s knowledge, understanding and application of technology in the context of operational environments has been central to our delivery of customised systems that consolidate people, processes and infrastructure.
The architect of InHouse, our unique service management tool, Andrew is adept at blending his technical prowess, business insight and customer care to create solutions that enrich our clients’ operational activities and add exceptional value to the systems we provide.
Andrew continues to keep his finger firmly on the pulse of the latest technological innovations and no new product is introduced to our portfolio without first undergoing rigorous testing by his team.

Beginning his career as a Software Developer and Technical Analyst with Apple in 2003, Gerard’s focus has always been on devising practical solutions to complex issues. Collaborating with clients and partners around the world, he designs and develops software that streamlines customers’ business activities and brings real value to their operations.
Gerard joined us in 2006 and is responsible for leading our software engineering team in the creation of cutting-edge solutions. Working across the full programme life cycle, he oversees software projects from pre-sales technical consultation to deployment, right through to post-implementation support.
With an uncommon ability to understand a company’s challenges and interpret them through the lens of technology, Gerard helps us to deliver systems that bring order, efficiency and huge cost savings to our customers.

As head of our UK operations, Steven is a hands-on leader who works closely with clients, devising solutions that bring significant improvements to their businesses. Combining a rare blend of operational and sales management experience, he advocates the necessity of truly appreciating a customer’s business challenges in order to develop an appropriate response.
Steven is very comfortable stepping into our customers’ shoes and seeing things from their perspective. With over 10 years in manufacturing and operations management roles for both Motorola and Compaq, he has taken the process, procedure and operational insights of the high-volume manufacturing world and applied these skills to the effective deployment of technology solutions for the supply chain.
Having originally joined our team in 2000, Steven subsequently worked as Partner Manager with Psion Teklogix and for global standards organisation GS1, before returning to the fold as our Managing Director for the UK in 2011.
